While being connected with the collector via M-Bus, the concentrator obtains functions of storing data and communicating. The whole process of automatic reading consists of three steps. Firstly, the automatic meter reading platform sends an order of collective reading via the internet (it could also read water meter in real time or at fixed point). Next the concentrator collects water data and uploads it to the data base. Later the data is displayed on the automatic meter reading platform.
The remote transmission valve-control water meter transmits via M-Bus. M-Bus is a master-slave and half-duplex system. Water meters are connected in parallel to the bus. The twisted-pair cabling could be arranged in any sorts of topological structures despite of its polarity, which is convenient. The power is supplied by the host reading engine to transmit data remotely.
